Health Aspects of Air Travel

1. DRINK Plenty OF WATER: The air in the cabin is as dry as a desert. Keep hydrated by drinking water or hot tea and avoiding dehydrating fluids like coffee, soda, and alcohol. If you’re going to overindulge, make sure to drink plenty of water to compensate.

2. TAKE VITAMINS OR HERBAL SUPPLEMENTS: It can’t hurt, and many travellers swear by high doses of Vitamin C, zinc, lozenges, or things like “Airborne.”

3. GET ENOUGH REST: Get some rest before your flight, and stop sleeping on the plane if it arrives at your destination during the day or late at night. You should be able to sleep at your destination as a result of this. If your flight arrives early in the morning, however, try to sleep on board so that when you arrive, you can stay awake until dark and resume your usual sleep cycle.You may want to check it out Health Aspects for more.

4. AVOID THE GERMS: Airports and aeroplane cabins are likely to be the most crowded places you’ll ever visit. Limit your contact with other passengers, and flying First Class is the best way to put some distance between you and another passenger. Other suggestions include carrying disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizers, and wiping down your tray table, seat belt, and arm rests when you get seated, at the risk of appearing phobic. If you’re really concerned, you could cover your nose and mouth with a face mask or a handkerchief to prevent the spread of germs from other passengers.
